  13. History Dating in the 1920 was very structured. The dating rules were firmly established. Boys and girls usually began dating in high school. Of course,they need their parents permission. Many teenagers were even chaperoned (accompanied by parents). The young couple usually left for a movie, and a soda and snack, which the boy paid for. The young people observed curfews

  14. In the 1980 dating was far more casual. Children begin dating in junior high school, and many youngsters had steady girlfriends or boyfriends. The younger couples might be escorted by their parents. Dutch treat dating is acceptable and because of the teens limited finances, it occurred quite frequently. Curfews were observed only in a few families. Today, teenagers have more independence in all aspects of dating.

  15. How dating in the English-speaking countries are? • Young people often start meeting someone of the opposite sex around the age of 14. They do not need an older person to go with them. Teenagers generally date people of their own age,although girls sometimes date boys two or three years older than they are.

  16. Either a girl or a boy can invite someone on a date. It does not mean that they date regularly only one person. Most teenagers go on dates with more than one person.Young people may even date several friends at the same time. Sometime two couples go together.

  17. Parents very rarely choose dates for their children. Young people usually meet and choose their own dates. Sometimes, however, someone arranges a date for two people who do not know each other.

  18. Boys and girls go to parties together.. A boy often goes to pike up his date at her home. Girls may invite boys to parties or other social events. Hand holding and light kissing in public are common. Anything more than light kissing is not generally approved of in public.

  19. And in Russia Young people start dating at about 13-14 years old. Teenagers generally date people of their own age, although girls sometimes date boys two or three years older than they are. Young people usually date regularly one person. Curfews are observed only in a few families. Teenagers have more independence in all aspects of dating. Parents very rarely choose dates for their children. Young people usually meet and choose their own dates. Blind dates are rare.

  20. Young people usually go to the cinema, to parties, to theatre. They can go roller- skating together, etc. A boy often goes to pick up his date at her home. Light kissing is common. In Russia usually the boy pays for both but sometimes the boy and girl share expenses, because dating is often very expensive.
