The Road To War

1. The Road To War In 1914 tensions in Europe erupted to be one of the largest war the world had yet seen it is known as world war1.

2. The allies and the opponents June 28 1914 at Bosnian city of Sarajevo a war is breaking out. The allies are Britain, France and Russia. The opponents are Germany, Austria hungry and ottoman empire. The Germans advanced 30 miles in to paris.

3. The deadliest war During the war a lot of weapons were being made to help each side one of the weapons the troops were using were gas masks designed to prevent deadly air or chemicals getting in their body. Hand grenades were used to bombed their opponents on each side they had them in hand pulled the pin throw and 10 seconds later if you are in the way you are gone. Machine guns their were used to have a high rate of fire and could shot multiply rounds per minute and could shot threw almost anything. Biplanes used in the war for air protection and to destroy and opponents planes that were trying to get bye to bomb the other side.

4. The united states stand point • The united states did not want any part of being involved in the war they wanted to left alone because they were friends with all the people fighting until the bad day happened

5. The day has come • A German u bout has sank 3 merchant boats the Americans are angry and thought about war and then after it happened Wilson asked the congress to declare war because the enemy keeps blowing their stuff so the congress says ok and the U.S has entered something they will never forget
