  2. Austin “Cool Ranch” Almond • 1st semester freshman • Computer Engineering Software • I learned about basic robot components, and how the random stuff in my Physics 2 class was useful. I have resisted hating resistors, I transitioned to appreciate transistors, and I now have the capacity to love capacitors. • At UF, I plan to write a lot of programs. It will be amazing. • My career in computer engineering is too far off to plan out entirely right now. I want to work for a major company and work on really cool projects.

  3. Ryan “Blazin’ Buffalo and Ranch” Ramnarine • 1st semester Sophomore • Electrical Engineering • I learned a lot about the different components of a circuit (capacitors, transistors, resistors) • This course has made me more interested in electrical engineering and I knew I made the right decision.

  4. Jesse “Nacho Cheese” Everett • 1st semester freshman • Computer Engineering Software • I learned a little background into why some of the components work the way they do as well as how to graph a middle finger (f(x)=abs(sinx/x)) • I plan to graduate with my degree and have as much fun as possible.

  5. The Escape of El Loco Taco • Long ago in the year 2009, the economy of Nicaragua fell into the depths of morose. One survivor, the robotic hero known as El Loco Taco, dedicated his life to the betterment of his family. This could only be done through illegal immigration to the great city of Gainesville. Planning for three years, he discovered the only hole in the Rio Grande fence and used state-of-the-art stolen technology to pass through. Bringing only his Nintendo Entertainment System, he braved countless obstacles on the road to freedom. With great success, he achieved his dream of safe passage to the New World, to prosperity, to the UF Machine Intelligence Lab.

  6. To sum up • This class was a great experience and with a good introduction to technologies we will be using later on. We would all recommend this to future incoming freshmen as a relatively easy class with a good education background.
