Equality Written by Thomas Jefferson, the United States Declaration of Independence bases it’s reason for freedom around the phrase,” All men are created equal.” The Declaration of Independence gets this equality between men from Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. But Lincoln got this ethical idea from the Bible. Political Ethical
