Transcript request • Transcript requests and forms must be submitted to Guidance Counselor three (3) weeksprior to application deadline • Transcript request form available in Guidance offices or online • Must have 1 per school • $3 processing fee per transcript • Present any additional forms from college at time of request • Must see your counselor in person !!!!! Counselor responsibilities After Receiving a Request Form the Counselor will: • Send transcript • Counselor recommendation if requested • School report form if provided • School profile • Mid year report (automatic after semester 1 ends) • Final transcript:(student will get form at end of year to verify)

Standardized Testing • SAT Reasoning Test (collegeboard.com)- is a multiple-choice test designed to measure your verbal, mathematical and writing abilities. • SAT Subject Tests-recommended or required by some colleges. • ACT (actstudent.org)– curriculum-based testing • PSAT/NMSQT (www.collegeboard.com)- is a multiple choice practice test. Your test results can qualify you for National Merit Scholarships. North code: 300430 • Most colleges now require official score reports. • Colleges require that test scores be directly sent from testing company

19. SAT Reasoning TEst There are 3 sections: • Mathematics • Critical Reading • Writing Scores will range from 200–800 on each section Score Choice • By Test Date NOT individual test • All scores from all test dates will be sent unless you “opt in” to score choice

20. ACT • score range = 1-36 • 4 SECTIONS: • English • Math • Reading • Science • easy and difficult questions are mixed
