TheRegionallyCoupledModel (ROM) • Components: • The REgional atmospheric MOdel REMO • Global ocean model MPIOM (increased resolution in the Tropical Atlantic). • - A global Hydrological Discharge model (HD). • The models are coupled via OASIS coupler. • 1-3-6 hours coupled time step. • Lateral atmospheric and upper oceanic boundary conditions outside the coupled domain from reanalysis or global models.
