  2. A local Charleston SC band playing the 60s, ’70s, ’80s,  ’90s rock ‘n’ roll, soul, blues, country, and pop — as well as popular shag music and beach standards.  These guys headline the popular Edisto Shag Festival each year on Edisto Island, SC

  4. About The Band Typically, we play from a set list of 100 songs. This includes ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s rock ‘n’ roll, soul, blues, country, and pop — as well as popular shag music and beach standards. Upon request at weddings, the band will learn a couple of new tunes for the Bride or Groom, as long as we have enough time to add them to our repertoire. Parties and wedding receptions, along with a mixed bag of restaurant and bar gigs are where the “Shem Creek Boogie Band” lay down their tunes.
