  17. WE DO Try changing these ways we sometimes think! How can we make them positive??? • I’m so dumb I can’t do this- • This is so hard - • No one wants to be my friend – • Nothing ever goes right for me -

  18. WE DO Instead we might say: • I will have to practice this more or ask for some help. • I have not got this yet but I am going to keep trying. • I am going to play somewhere else today 4. I’ve had a bad day today but tomorrow it another day.

  19. WE DO Can you think of a time you had a bad day? How did you Bounce Back?

  20. WE DO Yes!! We all have bad days and have set backs in life. Is it helpful to blame others? No!

  21. WE DO Who can we control? We are in charge of ourselves and we need to be able to make correct and strong choices.

  22. What would you do? WE DO Your teacher just gave you an assessment or task that you think is going to be really difficult for you to do?

  23. What would you do? WE DO • Ask for some help • Talk to your friends • Have a go • Think about all the learning you have done in class • Trust yourself

  24. What would you do? WE DO You have just has a falling out with one of your friends and they say they don’t want to play with you anymore?

  25. What would you do? WE DO • Give your friend some space • See it as a chance to get to know someone new • Play with someone else • Use positive self talk to tell yourself it will all be OK. You are still a great friend.
