Fall 2019 CE Registration Instructions (for Computers)

Access and complete the entire application and registration process for Fall 2019 CE classes through the DSU Concurrent Enrollment website. Find your high school, log in to your MyDixie account, and enroll in your CE class. Ensure you have your D-number and remember to take the registration deadline into account.

  2. Know Where To Go The entire application and registration process can be accessed and completed from the DSU, CE web site. http://concurrent.dixie.edu/

  3. Do You Have Your “D” Number? You should have already applied to DSU. If not, you’ll need to do so to get your Dixie ID#. Click here to apply

  4. Now Let’s Register For Class Click here to register

  5. Registering For Classes Find your high school and click on the button

  6. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School Hovering over your school will show you which CE courses are available there. Clicking on your school will allow you to log onto your MyDixie account where you can enroll in your CE class.

  7. Forgot Your DSU ID# or Password? • Choose the “Apply” tab on the Concurrent Enrollment homepage. Then, scroll down until you see this: Enter your social security number and birthdate Enter your DSU ID#

  8. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School After you log in: Select the “student” tab Select Registration

  9. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School Select the “Register for Classes” option

  10. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School Choose your term from the drop down menu, then select “Register for Classes” and pick “Enter CRNs"

  11. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School CE Teachers will give you the 5-digit CRN number for their class that you’ll need to type in. Hovering over your school will also show you the CRNs for classes at your school.

  12. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School After you type in the CRN and click “Add to Summary”… …you’ll see the word “pending” Click submit

  13. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School If you see an error when you try to submit, there is a problem. Most likely you are missing a required test score (ACT, Accuplacer or AP) or have an unpaid bill. Contact the DSU Concurrent Enrollment office for help.

  14. Registering for a CE Class Taught at Your High School If you did everything correctly and there are no problems, you’ll see “Registered” in green.

  15. That’s It… • Nothing to Print • Nothing to Sign • Nothing to Return • It’s that easy—you are enrolled in a CE class through DSU. Make sure your teacher sees you on his/her Canvas rolls as a college student. • CE course registration is due by Friday, August 17th, • Questions or problems?   16. We’re Glad To Have You As A Trailblazer! • Remember, you are not getting college credit for taking a high school class. You are taking a college class while in high school. • Your HS teacher has been approved as an Adjunct Faculty member or Department Instructor for Dixie State University. • Your teacher will be teaching University approved curriculum as outlined on your DSU syllabus. • The Dixie motto is: • Take this class, your work, and attendance seriously. You are now building your permanent college transcript! Active Learning. Active Life.
