1. Serena Burkard Early Life Serena Burkard was born in Sarasota, FL, in 1985. She is an only child and was raised by her mother. She lived in FL, MI, AZ, TX and IN. She enjoyed acting, basketball, dance, gymnastics and tennis. Early on, tennis became her favorite sport. She began competing at age 12, winning two state championships in high school and joining the Women’s Tennis Team at Emory University.Burkard sees the city of Sarasota as an underrated destination in Florida for both tourists and people who want to relocate. She has fond memories of the time she spent with her family or playing tennis in Sarasota,

2. Serena Burkard Former Retail Store Manager Serena Burkard is a former retail store manager previously based in the greater Atlanta area. She managed the local chain of general retail stores for seven years, between 2005 and 2012. She was responsible for inventory and employee management, including hiring employees, and also provided customer service among other responsibilities. Today she owns the e-commerce business Fresh Packaging Enterprises, LLC, as well as a child care service, Child Care Answers, LLC.Serena Burkard owns and operates her own child care services business, Child Care Answers, LLC, inMcCordsville, Indiana.

3. Serena Burkard Owner of Child Care Answers, LLC Serena Burkard is the owner of Child Care Answers, LLC which provides child care for individual families at their residence. She is working to expand the business into a nanny referral service which will provide clients with child care provider referrals, helping them choose the right nanny for their children. She also owns the e-commerce business Fresh Packaging Enterprises, LLC.

4. Serena Burkard Tennis Career Serena Burkard has been competing in tennis since she was 12. She played in high school for the North Central High School Panthers Girls Tennis Team as a singles player, traveling all over the state and winning state championships in 2001 and 2004. She continued her tennis career after enrolling at Emory University, winning the NCAA Division III Championships in Kalamazoo, MI in 2005.Serena Burkard played tennis as a member of the Emory University Women’s Tennis Team, winning the NCAA Division III Championships in Kalamazoo, MI in 2005 by defeating Washington & Lee.
