In conjunction with FMHS Research Week 2014 (25-26 June 2014) Students who are currently registered and enrolled in a Masters or PhD programme are invited to participate in this dynamic cross-disciplinary event which challenges them to present a compelling oration on their research topic on 1 PowerPoint slide in 3 minutes. 3MT Competition develops academic presentation as well as research communication skills and supports the development of research students’ ability to effectively explain their research in a “language” which is appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Deadline for Registration: 12 May 2014 (Monday) Details for Registration : Name & Matric No. of Student: Postgraduate Category: Research Title: Mobile No.: Email Add.: Email to: faizahnasir@upm.edu.my for PhD category shaluwah@upm.edu.my for Masters category The guidelines for the preparation of the 1 PowerPoint slide will be emailed to you upon registration. Heats will be held to shortlist 10 finalists for the Masters category and PhD category. Finale for Masters category: 25 June 2014 (Wednesday) Finale for PhD category : 26 June 2014 (Thursday) All finalists will receive a Certificate of Participation.
