  3. Cloud Altitude • Alto-High or Spanish for tall • Cirro- (Not cirrus) very high or Spanish for hill • Nimbus or Nimbo-means rain

  4. How to Name Clouds • Combine the types of clouds • Ex. Nimbostratus • Layered rain cloud • Ex. Altocirrus • High wispy clouds • Cumilonimbus • Mass of rain clouds
