  7. Terminology Defect/Bug • A defect/bug is a difference found between the test case actual and expected results. Test Case • Test Cases document the input, expected results and execution conditions of a given test item. Test Data • Set of input data used in test case execution Test Plan • Multiple test cases together in one document Quality Control • The process by which product quality is compared with applicable standards, and the action taken when nonconformance is detected.
