Changes to Quote Creation Current Quote process Create a new Quote, then Re-Quote, then escalate to marketing if better price needed – this may now be achieved in 2 steps instead of 3 What is changed? In the Quote Preparation Screen (screen after customer selection), Target price and Justification/Competitor fields now exposed for easy access User Impact? When in the Quote preparation screen, user may enter part and quantity and quote as normal. OR The user may enter part and quantity AND Target and justification – hitting the quote button will automatically advance the quote to a requote status

Changes to Quote Detail screen Additional data elements China RoHs:  This field refers to the Chinese RoHS Marking.  Click Here for symbol definition AEC: Automotive Electronics Council.  This field is not yet populated but will be in this next week.  The definition associated with the AEC flag is per the next slide. Requote Justification: This is the normal justification field associated with any quote entered earlier in the process

AEC (Automotive Electronics Council) AEC Specs: - Q100 (IC- initial release in June 1994; current Rev G May2007) & - Q101 (Discrete- initial release in May 1996; current Rev C Jun2005) • General Comments- • AEC contains the minimum guidelines to cover a broad range of semiconductors. • AEC targeted product lifetime is targeted 10-15 years versus most consumer products lifetime <3 years. • AEC does not replace sound reliability engineering, it compliments it. • The AEC documents do not relieve the supplier of their responsibility to meet their own company's internal qualification program. • Customer specific requirements may supersede AEC guideline
