Here are a few signs that will tell you it's time to sell your MacBook retina when you still have an option to get money instead of the product. The battery won't hold the charge for a long time This is the earliest sign that your laptop is dying, and you need to either repair it or sell it. If your laptop is old enough and after countless hours of use, chances are, that your battery won't be able to hold its charge very long. This is a major sign that your MacBook needs a replacement.
