General Information 58 Notified Bodies now registered in NANDO (increase of 1) Last Plenary Meeting, PM39: 2 October 2013 Since 2 October 2013: • Chairman: Malcolm Beard (Interfleet, UK) • Vice-Chairman: Thor Myklebust (SINTEF, Norway). Next Plenary Meeting, PM40: 5 February 2014 RISC 69, 29-30 January 2014

  4. Current Issues • No Plenary Meeting since last RISC meeting • Looking to give better public access to NB-Rail documents, initially through CIRCABC • Discussion on role and provision of NB-Rail Technical Secretariat ongoing RISC 69, 29-30 January 2014

  5. New RFUs The following RFUs will be presented for vote at NB-Rail Plenary Meeting PM40 on 5 February 2014: • RFU-RST-068 relating to automatic engine shutdown and fire extinguishing. Updated RFU to clarify how requirements for running capability can be met. • RFU-RST-085 relating to the use of ISVs issued against different modules. Clarification that an RFU issued against one module can be used as evidence of compliance with another module, providing that the assessment work completed meets the requirements of both modules.   6. New Q&Cs The following Q&Cs will be presented for vote at NB-Rail Plenary Meeting PM40 on 5 February 2014: • QC-INF-011 relating to tolerances in the constructed height of platforms. • QC-INF-017 relating to testing of wheel slide protection devices on coaches. RISC 69, 29-30 January 2014
