  2. Matisse CollageThe students learned to cut basic geometric shapes then opened their imaginations to the abstract and combined the two to create a colorful collage based on the works of Henri Matisse. Gabrielle Habib

  3. Fall Line TreesThe students learned about the many types of lines and different ways to color using crayons. Matthew Sahir

  4. Shape and Pattern Scarecrow’sStudents explored the art concept of collage using patterned paper shapes and everyday objects. Khrystyna Michael

  5. Printed SnowmanFirst the students printed their snowman with a balloon and then decorated them creating a multi-media collage. Jason Mia

  6. Joan Miro Color Wheel PeopleWe learned about primary and secondary colors then experimented with mixing colors to create our backgrounds! Bradley Madeline

  7. Paul Klee PortraitsPaul Klee creates abstracted portraits using shapes which we added two dimensional crazy hair after discussing one and two dimensions. Sundarram Alex

  8. Chinese DragonsWe celebrated Chinese New Year by designing color resist dragons from our imaginations! Luke Celine

  9. Picasso FlowersThe students created simple drawings that involved many steps and medias. Ishan Megan

  10. African MasksAfter discussing symmetry the students designed African masks that were symmetrically balanced. Sam Alanna

  11. Georgia O’Keeffe FlowersGeorgia O’Keeffe viewed and painted flowers from a different viewpoint…close up! The students drew big, close up flowers and painted them with magic crayons. Sitara Angelina Cheyanna
