Copyright Law is a legal action to protect the manifestation of one’s creative notions. This law has been constituted to defend the ownership of literary, musical, dramatic, artistic; cinematography works so that nobody else can use them in their works. Later the Independence, the Copyright Act 1957 appeared to be the first copyright enactment of India. However, the law has been reclaimed six times since 1957. How does this law act? How does this law act? The Copyright Act 1957, the copyright law of India, raises against the following subjects- ●Literary Works- A literary work is a work based on non-dramatic facts. Programs related to computers are considered to be Literary Works. ●Musical Works- Musical Works include musical compositions that can be already published or yet to be. ●Dramatic Works- Plays, pieces of recitation, any choreographed shows, and scripts are enlisted here. ●Artistic Works- Artistic works are works such as photography; graphics; paintings; drawings including a diagram, map, or chart; engravings including etchings, lithographs, etc. ●Cinematographic Works- The definition of a cinematographic work belongs to a cinematograph film or a visual recording along with its soundtrack. Therefore, these are the grounds where copyright law is available. Then followed by the signing and fees procedure, the applicant receives the diary number and has to wait for 30 days. The application will be registered if the officer doesn't accept any objection.
