  2. As learning is an evolving process, different problem-solving exercises for kids are needed at different stages of the process to encourage intellectual and social development. It differs depending upon the student groups, and it can be used to develop their problem-solving skills. Elementary Students These skills can be well-developed by engaging them in brainstorming sessions. Use the students’ imagination for group thinking. Encourage flexible thinking in them. Middle School They are required to be engaged in exercises involving a focus on statistics related to crime and jury system. These are necessary to emphasize the importance of actually understanding and solving a problem rather than merely memorizing a correct answer. Another way is involving exercises that involve material and ideas for developing problem-solving skills with an attitude that is responsive and accepting. High-School Time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills are essential. A range of activities and exercises should be involved in establishing a list of tasks and assigning to inbuild these soft-skills in them. Development of listening skills is also an important aspect of problem- solving skills.
