ROSE OIL EXTRACTION THREE METHODS OF ESSENTIAL OIL EXTRACTION • Supercritical Fluid Extraction • Oil extraction by Carbon Dioxide(CO2) • This method is most advance as it yields pure, high quality, optimum quantity and chemical free rose oil • Pilot plant is now functional at University of Agriculture Faisalabad • Solvent Extraction • Oil extraction through solvent (Ether, Hexane) • Steam Distillation • Oil extraction through steam

  3. SUPERCRITICAL FLUID EXTRACTION • Carbon dioxide (CO2) is used as solvent . • Oil Extraction is carried out typically at pressure between 80 to 180 bar and temperature between 35 – 70 °C • The extraction process works in a closed loop with constant circulation of (CO2)
