GAL Power – A Case Study of Temporary Power Solutions for Toronto Pride
GAL Power Systems, provider of customized power solutions, highlight their work with the 2017 Toronto Pride Parade. GAL had to supply power, distribution, and temporary lighting for the 3-day event which spread across 7 kilometers. We supplied power to over 100 booths/vendors on multiple streets. Some challenges GAL faced were short set up and tear down times and the need for 24/7 support during the 3-day event. To overcome these and more challenges, GAL used 14 generators (over 2 Mega Watts of power), 30,000 linear feet of cabling, and had a 5-crew support team to deal with any issues.
