  4. Is late-night programming needed at your institution? • Determine if/why you should offer late-night programming on your campus • Think about your student population, and what issues you have on campus • Pin point the main issue your students are having • Understand the needs of your students

  5. My institution • Widener University –Residential population of 1,600 , off-campus parties, students complain about lack of things to do on weekends • Alcohol issues • Judicial meetings with students • My Bright Idea

  9. Have a pilot late-night program • Pride Nights # 1 • April 15, 2010 • Activities: 3 Big Screens for Wii Sports, Just Dance, Michael Jackson Experience, Tie-Dye, Design your own Pillowcase, Photo key chain making, Food, and giveaways • Results: over 100 students attended • Conducted Surveys

  10. Pride nights # 2 • Pride Nights # 2 • September 16, 2011 • Activities: Laser Tag, Air Brush Tattoos, Wii Games, Design your own pillowcase, Caricatures, Sand Art, Funky Background Photos, Prizes, and Food • Results: over 270 students attended

  11. Pride nights # 3 • Pride Nights # 3 • October 7, 2011 • Activities: Mechanical Bull Inflatable, Inflatable Box ‘N Bounce, Inflatable All In-One-Sports Arena, Big Chair Photos, Wii Games, Spin Art-Shutter Shades, Nacho Bar, and Music • Results: About 60 students
