  2. Location • Fort worth is located in the North Central Plains. • It is west of Dallas, between Arlington and White Settlement. • It is located in the rolling hills of the North Central Plains.

  3. Climate • The climate in Fort Worth is continental and humid. • Climate is important because you want to know what type of clothes you should bring with you. • Texas climate is very unique. Why? Because sometimes it’s burning hot, and sometimes it’s freezing cold.

  4. History • Between 1866 and 1890 more than four million head of cattle were trailed through fort Worth which was soon known as “Cowtown.” • Everywhere you go in Fort Worth you’ll find evidence of it’s legendary past.

  5. If you are hungry you don’t have to look far, because Fort Worth is famous for it’s great steakhouses, barbecue and Texas cuisine. There are also awesome Mexican, Italian, Greek and Thai restaurants. Dining

  6. Entertainment You won’t be bored in Fort Worth.If you do try going to the Fort Worth Stockyards, you can get a little history lesson in the Museum, and then go to the A-maze-ing Maze. There are also huge malls. A few of these are Traders Village, Sundance Square, and a few Antique stores.
