  2. Maps Of Japan • A Map of Japan would mainly show about 3 islands. The Japanese flag represents the rising sun.

  3. Language of Japan The inhabitants of Japan speak Japanese.  The history of this name is simple, somebody named the country Japan, they named it Japanese.  The Japanese language is very different from English because of punctuation marks, stray marks, and other things.

  4. Clothing of Japan • The traditional Japanese clothing is the kimono.  It is a long, silky dress-like clothing made in different styles for each gender.  Some popular designs are flowers, birds, and also spirits and ghosts.

  5. Games and TV • A genre of TV in Japan Is Animae. Animae is Japanese cartoons. Some popular Japanese games are pokemon, Mario, pacman, and Zelda. 

  6. Food of Japan Some popular foods in Japan are rice, fish, and vegetables.  Since Japanese people are so strict on their healthy diet, they are known to be the longest living country in the world.

  7. Art of Japan • A lot of Japanese art includes mountains, rivers, spirits, cities, and forests.  That is because of all the amazing scenery in the country of Japan.  Some famous Japanese Artists are Hokusai, Yoko Ono, and Ayumi Hamasaki.

  8. Beliefs of Japan Many inhabitants of Japan believe in spirits.Some popular spirits in Japan are Nihonshu (snake)  Ushi Oni (tiki thing) Kitsun (kitty girl) and  Kuchisake Onna ( Demon Lady)

  9. Customs of Japan • Some Customs of Japan are bowing, chopsticks, and NO tips. The reason the Japanese do not like tips is because they like to make things on their own.  Bowing is very important when meeting someone new.

  10. Cities of Japan • Some popular Japanese cities are Tokyo, Fukushima, and Nagasaki.  The worst radioactive  spill was in Fukushima in 2011 triggered in the Japanese Tsunami.

  11. Japanese Trading • Some of Japans trading partners are China, The USA, South Korea, and Taiwan. Japan trades plushies, Electronics, and cars.

  12. Animals Of Japan • Some animals of Japan are the Shiba Inu, Japanese Chin, and Akita. The three animals are all dogs. The Akita looks like a Rotwieler. The Japanese chin looks like a Yorkie. And a Shiba Inu looks like a Doge.

  13. Music of Japan • Japanese music are traditional, folk, disco, and rock. The Japanese are so strong because their dances require a lot of movement.

  14. Schooling of Japan • In Japan some rules in schools are that on the first day of school, Children 5-7 have to bring a pillow and blanket to put in their desks to sleep on. The school year starts in April and ends in March.   Many Japanese schools have uniforms.

  15. Japanese Plants • Some plants in Japan are the Sakura, or Cherry tree, Bamboo, and Pinetree. The Sakura tree was brought to the USA from Japan in 1876.

  16. People Of Japan • Some famous people in Japan were Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582), Sakamoto Ryōma (1836-1867), and ToyotomiHideyoshi (1537-1598). A lot of Japanese people are responsible for modern day tools.

  17. Identify Major Landforms • A popular landform in Japan is an island. That is because Japan is an archipelago, or a series of islands. Japan has over 4000 islands. Japan also has lots of valleys and canyons from the floods and tsunamis.
