  3. Awards Expert • Needs to be an adult • Needs to read and understand all award rules • Role: maximize FTC Values in student experience • Keep other adults inline with FTC Values

  4. Engineering Notebook • Should have 1 student & 1 adult Expert • Must know formatting • Role: ensure each student is involved • Document now • Judges want to see the process your team took • Include STEM

  5. Community Service Projects • Continually do projects that connect students to community • Have at least 1 project designed and implemented by students • Have a big 1

  6. Team Finances • Create goals alongside students • Keep them updated • Look into all continuity threats

  7. Compass and Promote • Do them now while you have time • Great team building exercise • Judges like it when you do them

  9. Robot familiarity • All Students are expected • Just the basics • Know all the engineering principles

  10. Presentation Practice • Practice with mentors 3 weeks out • Practice with parents and sponsers at least 1 week out • Make sure they get the information out in time • Save time for questions
