  1. 5 Things Drivers Of A Transporting Can Do For Coronavirus Containment Coronavirus is a type of virus that easily affects the respiratory system of a person with poor immunity. Began in the end of November or beginning of December last year in Wuhan, China, Covid-19 is a global epidemic. According to the World Health Organization, it has infected more than 3 million people and taken the lives of more than one hundred and 50 thousand people in 218 countries across the world. The number of infected and dead people is rising with each passing second/minute. To contain the spread of Covid-19, everything, except essential goods and services, is closed, as the entire world in under a lockdown. People have to stay in their homes, and only the providers of essential goods and services come out to serve humanity. Drivers of a transportation company are one of those people. As a

  2. driver, you must support the world in the containment of this novel virus. Here are what you can do in this regard: 1.Hand washing Keep in mind this novel virus spreads via physical contact. It can make you suffer if you touch your face, especially mouth and nose without washing your hands. You might have touched a surface that might have Covid-19 infection. So, touching your face with your hands can be very unhealthy for you. Prevention is a better weapon for you in comparison with a treatment. Never forget to wash your hands with an antibacterial soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. 2. No handshakes In the transit of goods, a truck/vehicle diver meets numerous people on the way. Usually, drivers and other people greet each other by handshaking. In the current scenario, you must avoid handshakes and greet people by telling hi/hello from a distance. With this, you will keep yourself and others from getting infected of this

  3. novel virus. Maintain a significant distance from people who have come from a highly danger zone. 3. Sleeve coughing or face covering Apart from physical contacts (handshake or contact with contaminated object), droplets that come out from coughs or sneezing are vital carrier of Covid-19. You need to maintain a proper distance (3 feet) from a person who coughs or sneezes. Apart from making a distance, you should cover your face with a facemask or a handkerchief to keep yourself protected from those droplets. If you haven’t a facemask or hanky with you, sneeze on your sleeves while sneezing or coughing for the protection of other people. 4. Vehicle sanitization Many studies have suggested that this virus lives alive on a surface, whether it is made of paper, plastic, or any metal, for 24-72 hours. It means the vehicle you use to transport essential goods from one place to another may have Covid-19 infection. So, sanitizing your truck/carrier is as vital for you as washing your hands. Never forget to sanitize your vehicle before loading and after unloading of essential goods. 5. No work Like yours, lives of other people are critical. You should say no to drive a carrier when you notice any significant signs, such as fever, sore throat, dry cough, and a lack of a sense of smelling. Stay at home to safeguard yourself. Apart from the things mentioned above, you should avoid transporting non-essential goods. Conclusion The ongoing situation across the world is difficult for the health of everyone. As a driver of a leading transportation company, you should take proper care of yours and others’ health. For this, you should wash your hands frequently, say no to handshakes, opt for sleeve coughing/face covering, sanitize vehicle and take proper rest to stay healthy and keep others healthy.
