  2. Event Safety Briefing • Fire alarms are tested every Friday • The fire alarm is a continuous siren. If you hear this alarm, please leave the building by the nearest safe exit. • Do not stop to pick up personal belongings • Fire exits are situated to the right and left of the stage and via the ground floor exit off the lower foyer. • Meet at the fire assembly point in the car park at the rear of the building. • Stay together so that your event organiser can conduct a roll call.

  3. Anti Trust / Competition Laws • Purpose of the AMM is to promote safety, so; • No discussions about prices, customers or bids. • No discussions on commercially sensitive matters • Sales stands give an idea of products / services available but are not specifically endorsed by the MSF.

  4. Rules of Engagement • Please put mobile phones on “vibrate” or turn off • If you must answer calls then please leave the room • Please contribute, ask questions or challenge • One speaker at a time – have respect • Please wait for the microphone before speaking • Please state your name, position and who you work for • Remember that your feedback and participation is vital to our progress • Please return your name badges when you leave

  8. MSF Finances Update Present balance £61,200 Expenditure 2019 (as of 27.05.19) Spend = £18629 Income  = £41654 Outstanding £10234 FORTHCOMING EXPENDITURES OGUK / SCiS sponsored seafarer award. All Members Meeting Website Maintenance Step Change in Safety / Joined up Thinking Videos Technical writing fees.

MSF Website • New site now up and running. • Maintains access to guidelines, resources and safety alerts etc. but now with increased functionality. • Designed to provide a space for members only and to help ensure that membership has greater benefits than before. • New areas • Forum • Safety Statistics

Safety Statistics • Currently collecting 2018 safety stats. • 2017 Safety stats report are available to download on the MSF Website • This report is available to all members. • For 2018 and onwards two levels of report • Basic High Level Report for all members • More detailed report, benchmarking against others for those Ship Owners who submit figures • Request for all ship owners to submit your 2018 figures – we would like to expedite the 2018 reports.

MSF Sponsored Safety Award OGUK & Step Change in Safety Offshore Safety Awards 2019 MSF sponsoring a category for seafarer safety. ‘The award is for a seafarer who demonstrates a passion for safety, leads by example and continuously strives for safe operations. This individual, or team, should demonstrate their commitment and have a genuine passion for safety.’ Please spread the word!
