  2. ABOUT • Born in Daqing, 1962 • Graduated from Hebei university in 1983 majoring in oil painting • Moved from being an electrician, to an artist • In 1991, he moved to Yuanmingyuan to follow his career as a painter • Best known for the laughing character in many of his pieces
