Opening sequence ideas 1.Horror Detailed outlined of the idea •Foggy cold day in a forest ➔Midday ➔A person jogging through the forest and finding the dead body •A girl found dead on the floor with a pool of blood around her •Montage of images relating to her murder •Bloody knife- being held by a man •Broken bottles •Flashing lights •Close ups of her dead body •Flashback of the night before •Party scene everyone is drunk and drinking – brief clips of the flashing lights and diegetic sound of the loud music •Physical fight with a mysterious man (assume it’s a boyfriend) •Distorted camera shots match the drunk feeling of the flashback •Gets into car- fighting in the car •Stop car on side of the rode- girl manages to escape and run into forest •Return to present day of the girls dead body in the forest Brief Outline of the whole film Equilibrium-Living a happy life has a boyfriend, good family lots of friend and doing well in school Disruption- go to a party and her boyfriend gets jealous she’s is with this other guy being really close to each other and assumes she cheated on him with a guy Recognition-Has a massive fight with boyfriend she drags her into his car and drives away from party and end up with him killing her Repair- Her best friend determined to find out what has happened to her and who killed her New Equilibrium- Boyfriend in jail and family and friends get closure about what happened to her
2.Horror Detailed outlined of the idea •Sunny day at the park •Children playing outside •The sound of ice cream vans •Close up of older man •Out of place •Watching the child •Close up of someone grabbing child’s wrist •Dragging them into a car •Child starts crying and screaming in the car •Montage of different shot when the boy is kidnapped •Boy kept in dark underground space •Child tied up, blindfolded and mouth taped •Close up of money and gun •Online website full of children •Close ups of contracts •Ending shot is the child face on a computer with a sold sign next to it •Insinuating child trafficking Brief Outline of the whole film Equilibrium-Mother and child go out of a day in the park, mother goes and buys the kid ice cream leaving the child for a second Disruption- Child get taken by mystery man, Mother comes back from getting ice cream and child is missing sending her into distress Recognition-starts to look for child thinking they have gotten lost but can’t find child and calls the police Repair- police is called and now looking for the child and come across him being sold New Equilibrium- child is found and the children trafficking ring was shut down and they guy is arrested
3.Action Detailed outlined of the idea •3 guys and 1 girl all dressed in black and have ski masks on ➔Leaving a shop ➔Alarms going off ➔Lights flashing ➔Broken glass •All get in a car then drive away ➔In rear view mirror see a police car following them ➔Lights of the car a flashing ➔Car chase ➔Chaos within the car cause they are going to be caught •There is a crash ➔Smoke coming from the car ➔Wonder if they are dead or not Brief Outline of the whole film Equilibrium- 4 people have just broke in the house and stolen money and jewellery Disruption- alarms start going off and police are called as people wake up and hear wats going on Recognition-the try and escape in the getaway car but get caught in a police chase Repair- they give in and stop the car and confess to what they have done and give back everything that was taken- they were just kids looking for something New Equilibrium- Put in jail and learn from their mistakes and come out as better people
