  3. Introduction • I have designed an affordable home in Noblesville, IN. My design is universal so that any occupant can utilize my home.

  4. Project Description • House: • 2 bedroom, 1 ½ Bathroom, Laundry room, Desk area, Patio, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a display room • Constraints: • Crawl space is 4 ft. deep • Hallways are 42 in. • Passage doorways are 36 inches • Entrance door is a 6-panel door with half-moon light, also exterior lights • Every bedroom has at least one window. • Ramp and stairs lead to the entrance of the house. • Back entrance for fire hazards • Site: • Noblesville, IN, gets 37 inches of rain per year. The US average is 37. Snowfall is 23 inches. The average US city gets 25 inches of snow per year. The number of days with any measurable precipitation is 99. • On average, there are 185 sunny days per year in Noblesville, IN.

Universal design • There is a ramp at the front of the house for a accessible entrance. • There is more than five square feet of space, within the kitchen for wheelchair access. • In the master bathroom there is a shower and a bath ( For handicap accessibility) • Entrance doors a 6-panel doors with half moon light • Hallways are 42 inches • Door passages are 36in.
