  2. Dream Content • People all over the world dream of mostly the same things. • Personal experiences from the last day or week are frequently incorporated into dreams.

  3. Visuals • Different locations and objects blending • Reflect memory and experiences • Often exaggerated • Blind people • Senses- auditory, touch, smell, taste

  4. Emotions • Most common- anxiety • Others are: • Anger • Fear • Joy/ Happiness • Negative is more common than positive

  5. Sexual themes • 10% of the time and mostly my mid-teens • Some cases can cause orgasm • Sexual wish-feelings

  6. Color vs. Black and White • Small minority • 2008 study at the University of Dundee -black and white television (25% of the time)

Top 10 Common Dreams and Their Meanings • Car Troubles: In or near a car- feeling powerless over something in your life, or that you are heading for a crash (metaphorically). • You may like: You feel you are loosing touch with reality, or it can also occur when you are feeling anxious about making a connecting with another person in real life. • Lost or trapped: meaning that you are trapped in real life, unable to make the right choice

Continued • Missed a Boat or Plane: Feel that you have missed out on an important opportunity in your real life. • Failing a Test: You are feeling tested in some way in your real life. • Being Chased:Someone or something is making you feel threatened. • Bad or Missing Teeth: We are afraid of being found unattractive. • Dream Nudity: Feeling exposed, awkward, or vulnerable.

Continued • Ill or Dying: • You are emotionally hurt or are afraid of becoming hurt • Warning you of an upcoming physical risk to yourself or a loved one • When it is someone else in the dream that dies- you feel part of yourself is dead • It may also mean that you wish that person would go away or that you fear loosing them.

Baby crying) • Determining reality with patterns and non responsive visuals
