    3. Kuwait DGCA Safety Policy Statement “To provide the highest standard in safety, quality and services in civil aviation and airport operations.”

    4. Our commitment is to: Develop and embed a safety culture across all our aviation activities that recognises the importance and value of effective aviation safety management and acknowledges, at all times, that safety is paramount; Clearly define for all staff their accountabilities and responsibilities for the development and delivery of aviation safety strategy and performance; Minimise the risk associated with an aircraft accident or incident to a point which is as low as reasonably practicable/achievable; Ensure externally supplied systems and services that impact upon the safety of our operations meet appropriate safety standards;

    5. 2- Our commitment is to: actively develop and improve our safety processes to conform to internationally recognized standards; comply with and wherever possible exceed legislative and regulatory requirements and standards; ensure that all staff are provided with adequate and appropriate aviation safety information and training, are competent in safety matters and are only allocated tasks commensurate with their skills; ensure sufficient skilled and trained resources are available to implement safety strategy and policy;

    7. 4 - Our commitment is to: Establish and measure our aviation safety performance against objectives and/or targets; Achieve the highest levels of safety standards and performance in all our aviation activities; Continually improve our safety performance; and Conduct safety and management reviews and ensure relevant action is taken.

    8. Kuwait DGCA safety policy comprises the following: a) Standards Consistently seek to be in line with international norms and best practices in safety, and in particular to comply with the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).   b) Priority of Safety Safety is the highest priority in civil aviation throughout all Kuwait DGCA activities including, and not limited to, safety regulation, air traffic services and airport operations.

    9. 2- Kuwait DGCA safety policy comprises the following: c) Safety Culture Develop a safety culture among Kuwait DGCA managers, staff and relevant contractors, by having a: clear safety accountabilities and responsibilities; appropriate training; increased safety awareness; and help to create an environment to constantly learn and improve on safety  d) Systems Ensure that systems, equipment and infrastructure meet appropriate safety standards and contribute towards enhancing civil aviation and airport safety. .

    10. Principles Staff                1- Competency Principle  Staff should be adequately trained and competent for the job they are required to do, in addition to being properly licensed if so required.                 2- Safety Improvement Principle  All staff should be actively encouraged to propose solutions to identified hazards and changes should be made to improve safety where they appear needed.   .
