  3. New Assessment Template • Available online http://www.mvsu.edu/ir • Cleaner and easier to follow the assessment process • Includes changes to the process • Removed staff involvement section • Added link to strategic plan for each outcome statement • One (1) additional outcome statement

  6. Three (3) Outcomes Statements • Increased from 2 to 3 • For at least one outcome statement, use 2 means of assessment; • NOTE: On the new form, a second means of assessment is recommended for the first outcome statement.

  7. Additional Points • Use the Guidelines Document and Checklist • Select Valid Means of Assessment • Otherwise: • It’s impossible to assess the outcome • The data collected is useless • The results won’t have any meaning • Can’t tell if the outcome was achieved • Use of Results should have already happened • Timeline for assessment activities are NOT the same as report due dates • Express this part of the report in past tense
