Vaccines in India & Impact  • Covaxin, India's first COVID-19 vaccine candidate has sought the drug regulator's approval to start the large-scale phase III clinical trial in the country. • The Drugs Controller General of India asked the vaccine maker Bharat Biotech to submit "complete safety and immunogenicity data of the phase II trial" and some clarifications before proceeding for the next stage. www.add15years.com www.add15years.in

  8. Countrywide Vaccination • The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16 with two vaccines - Covishield and Covaxin. • The government has said both vaccines are safe, but there are some associated side-effects as with any other vaccine. www.add15years.com www.add15years.in
