Personal experience: My trip to Turkey Personal experience: My trip to Turkey and how I enjoyed it and how I enjoyed it Visiting Turkey stood out on the top of my to-do list. The presence of historical sites, archaeology, culture, language, and quality of life, there were a lot of reasons why I wanted to visit Turkey. Turkey is a country worth visiting. There are hidden histories that you will love to explore, an amazing landscape for pictures and tours, native and traditional food, music, and sports – Turkey was a wholesome experience for me. Hello, my name is SAIT ERZIN, and I’ll walk you through my personal experience in Turkey and why I enjoyed every bit of it. My visit to Turkey extended to these three cities; Izmir, Bodrum & Kusadasi. It took me approx. 3 hrs to complete a tour from Izmir to Bodrum while Izmir to Kusadasi was just an hour drive. There are lots of famous sights in Izmir; the famous Konak clock tower that is 25 meters tall, Levantine mansions, ancient ruins, the ancient seat of satan, and a lot of other stunning views. Izmir lived up to its name as the third-largest city with a lot of mysterious stories. For instance; the Konak clock is over 100 years old but has never stopped or skipped a second.
Kusadasi, turkey gave me a lot of relaxation spots; the beach tours, boat trips, and a tour to the Dilek Peninsula. The ruins of Ephesus and the ancient Priene site were amazing sights to behold. I learned about Gozleme, the traditional food in Kusadasi, Turkey.
In Bodrum, I visited the museum of underwater Archeology, the famous windmills, and a trip through the villages.
My visit to Turkey wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my shopping experiences, the fantastic weather, and the time spent watching soccer games. The people of Turkey were friendly, just like the weather. My overall experience in Turkey was pleasant, an adventure that I will love to repeat, and probably tour more cities in Turkey.
