9. 25 September 2012 Rules (Mostly guidelines) If necessary it is allowed to assist the participant to enter the contest area If one of the participants is registered to compete only in ne-waza the other participant has to adjust The referee is allowed to give an interpretation to the rules (except for the prohibited actions) if the safety or wellbeing of one of the participants is at stake. The referee can stop /suspend the game and take corrective actions

10. 25 September 2012 Rules (Mostly guidelines) Progress of the game For the age group under 12 the game is 2 min For the age group over 12 the game is min 2 min and max 3 min. determined by the tournament organization When applying to participate, it is registered, whether the participant will compete in Tachi- or in Ne-waza The referee could decide, for reason of safety of the participant to continue in Ne-Waza instead of the registered Tachi-waza (in exceptions even during a game) A participant registered as Ne-Waza will continue in Ne-Waza for the whole tournament In case there is (by mistake ?) a competitor in a group with a major level difference related to the rest of the group the referee can request the organization to reconsider the divisioning
