  2. What is Photo Story? • Free Microsoft program: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/PhotoStory/default.mspx • A show-n-tell tool • An organization assistant • Digital storytelling (in it’s basic form)

  3. How does it work? • Simpler version of Movie Maker • Upload photos/images (they must already be saved on your computer) • Add voice narration • Add music • Add transitions among images

  5. Finishing the Story Luckily, Photo Story renders, or finishes, your story into a Windows Media Player file. Windows Media Player files can be played on any computer with Media Player. Does not require the installation of Photo Story.

  6. Great story telling in the classroom • Show readers what authors mean – don’t tell them • Use Photo Story to show meaning from a story or novel • “He was very mad,” said Bill. Well, how mad is very mad? • Use sensory observation to “show” mad
