  4. Stanislovski • The Father of Modern Acting. He studied at the Moscow Art Theater, kept diaries, and then later had them published and sent to the western hemisphere. At the turn of the 20th century.

  5. Scoring • To cut into chunks a script or a character role.

  6. Unit • A division of the script. A scoring “chunk”

  7. Goal or Objective • What the character wants in a scene, written in an actively verbal way. Ex: Iwantto hug.
