  3. An ancient story about the Trojan horse sail The Greeks PK the Trojans Who won at last? It happened over 3,000 years ago. It’s a war between the city of Troy and Greece.

  4. Read 1st paragraph on P83 and guess the result of the war. How long have the Greeks fought with the Trojans? A. For 10 years. B. For 15 years. Is that ture?

  5. Read the last paragraph on P83 and tell who won the war at the end. How? Surprised? For ten years,the Greeks could not capture the city by fighting. In one night, however, they succeeded in capturing it through a clever trick. a clever trick.

  6. Watch a video and guess:what was the most important in the trick? A horse! What would they do with the horse? What happened next?

  7. Group work: Read paras2-6 quickly by yourself. Then discuss and put the plot in the right order. 3 The Trojans celebrated and then all went to sleep. The captain ordered the soldiers to pull the horse into the city. The Greek soldiers climbed out of the wooden horse. The Greek soldiers opened the main gates and let their army enter. The Greek army left a huge wooden horse outside the city of Troy. 2 4 5 1
