  3. Opportunities • Very large scale content aggregation in agriculture • Collaboration and crowd-sourcing with Semantic Web • Gather the Tips: Farmers and producers can contribute data directly • Blend of sensornet and mobile networks • Wider use of map-like interfaces • Open Source WebGIS

  4. Issues • Disconnectbetween institutional agri expertise and ICT tools • Divergence of ICTA and ICT4D: champions not able to ingrain agricultural and farming aspects • Lack of adequate data volume to build “open services” blending non-PC with PC-centric approaches
