HAROP Status of project 1/2 • HAROP – HArmonized Radio Operations Procedures for GSM – R • Projectmanager : Eric Prétet • The situation today : • The harmonisation of driver reaction following a GSM R emergency call is discussed in the Operations Support Group of the CER • The discussions show the interest to define the « proceed on sight » (or « marche à vue » or « run on sight ») in an european harmonised way and to implement this harmonised « proceed on sight » in every european railways

  3. HAROP Status of project 2/2 • Prospects : • Contribute to the works concerning the harmonised « proceed on sight » by proposing a rule that could be validated on the european level • Support the on going works concerning the GSM R Railway Emergency Call in the CER OPE Support Group
