  3. U D L • UDL means Universal Design for Learning. • Universal – applications that work across the board. • Design – Creating a plan or curriculum that considers the needs of your audience. • Learning – Provides for inclusiveness so that everyone has an equal opportunity to learn.

  4. Open the Door !!! Simply put, in the old days, classrooms had one door. Now they have 2. UDL has 9 doors – providing a much more streamlined and inclusive way to teach. Let’s watch a short video from CAST on UDL on WHAT, HOW and WHY we learn.
