Description • Competition between U of M students and student athletes • Students chosen by drawing at event • Athletes chosen a month prior to event • Consists of random trivia questions and sport challenges • Minute to Win it competitions, Relay Races, Singing competitions • A new way for students to enjoy Spring Jam as well as get to compete with student-athletes

  8. Exposure for Sponsors • Logo on back of t-shirts • Ad on side of court • Option to hand out fliers or promotional items • Thanked over the PA system • Logo on website • Mentioned on Facebook page and Twitter

  9. Staffing & Scheduling Our 4 Team Members: 2 MC’s and 2 event coordinators. Volunteers from Spring Jam Committee, SAAC, and student body. Hand out tickets at door Competition officiators (10 – 15) Between competition coordinators (approx 5) Security Guards. Two for first hour One for the entire event EMT/Medical Trainer 1 Operations Manager and 3 Secondary Operations Staff Scoreboard/Audio Operator Student Labor for Cleaning

  10. Risk Management & Crowd Control Pre-event staff & volunteer emergency protocol briefing Bag check upon Entrance. No alcohol policy. Students found intoxicated will be escorted out. Security guard/operations staff/volunteers watching crowd for suspicious or violent activity. Police notified when serious incidents arise. Announcement to spectators about voicing concerns. EMT on staff for medical emergencies.
