  5. Playa Brasilito Brasilitois the town closest to CDSG campus. There is beach access, as well as small stores to buy groceries and our favorite soda, Soda del Coco.

  11. Sea Turtle Nesting Ground Costa Rica is home to many endangered sea turtle nesting grounds. During the months of July – February sea turtles come to the beaches of Costa Rica to lay eggs.

  14. Questions We Had: School Living Situation Every grade level has Spanish class everyday. Specials are taught completely in Spanish. Average class size is much smaller that GA public schools. Costa Rica as a whole is environmentally friendly. The country is big on recycling. Virginia Curriculum Doesn’t have gifted/special needs program Casual work attire On campus apartments. Pay electricity bill at Super Compro. Sun rises/sets really early. (5:15 am/pm) Free community laundry mat on campus. Bring own towels, soft sheets. Grocery store takes card, cash, and colones. Learn some Spanish before going, at least food and greetings.
