  1. The Traps of a Mighty Hunter 10The Trap of Fear HEBREWS 13:5-6 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

  3. Trap:(w) A mechanical device or enclosed place in which something, esp. an animal, is caught or penned.Any device or plan for tricking a person or thing into being caught unawares. Fear 10

  4. Traps Deceive Fear 10

  5. 2. A Trap Always Promises Something Good Fear 10

  6. 3. Traps Never look like Traps! Fear 10

  7. Traps of a Hunter • Traps are Intended to Deceive. • Traps Always Promise Something Good. • Traps Never look like Traps. • Traps Lay Along Well-Worn Paths. • Trappers often invade the territory of the Prey. PSALM 141:8-10 8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. 9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity. 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. Fear 10

  8. THE.LAMB'S.BOOK.OF.LIFE_ 51 (I Cor. 12"By one Spirit we're all baptized into one body…)And then it's not what I've done, what I am, who I was; it's what God has done for me in Christ. And we are perfected with our Sacrifice. He makes no mistakes. He wouldn't bring you in, if you wasn't worthy. He knows your heart. He knows what you are. He knows your motives. He knows what you are. There's traps all along the road. Sure. The devil will cause you to stumble, and you say, "I didn't mean to do that. God, You know it." You're still perfect, because there's a perfect Blood offered for you every day, and a bleeding Sacrifice hanging before the throne of Almighty God. 56-0603 Fear 10

  9. “When we see a brother or sister in sin, there are two things we do not know: First, we do not know how hard he or she tried not to sin. And second, we do not know the power of the forces that assailed him or her. We also do not know what we would have done in the same circumstances.” F.B. Meyer Fear 10

  10. REVELATION 3:17 • Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Fear 10

  11. MATT. 7:15-17 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Fear 10

  12. Fear All Around Us! Fear 10

  13. Fear(w) A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; Reverential awe, especially toward God. GENESIS 46:2 2 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I. 3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: 4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes. Fear 10

  14. MARK 4:15-17 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. Fear 10

  15. CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY 416 And they're going to bring a persecution on, pretty soon, and shut up all the churches. You see that. And churches like this, who is not denomination, they'll use them for a storehouse, anything. And if any man goes and offer a prayer for anybody else that don't belong to the economical movement, will be shot on the spot. It's already. That Lutheran minister, the head of it, said so. And it's right here, You can read it right here in your magazine. Fear 10

  16. 417 Don't make any difference what they say, that Church will stand true in this Light. She's already proved it back yonder, and She'll do it again in the face of everything. It's the Word of God. And they, all ecumenical movements and everything else, will be gone. She is going to be There without spot or wrinkle. That's right. She'll stand there. Fear 10

  17. EMINENT DOMAIN The power to take private property for public use by a state or national government, or legislated by the state to municipalities, government subdivisions... to exercise functions of public character. The property may be taken either for government use or third parties who will devote it to public or civic use or, in some cases, economic development. The most common uses of property taken by eminent domain are for government buildings and other facilities, public utilities, highways, and railroads… Fear 10

  18. CHURCH.AGE.BOOK 82-4 Persecution and trials are a natural, normal part of the Christian life. There is only one thing you can do about them. Commit them all to God, judge not, and leave their outworking and final judgment to Him. Fear 10

  19. II CORINTHIANS 12:9-10 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Distresses: (GR.) Narrowness of place, a narrow place; metaph. dire calamity, extreme affliction. Fear 10

  20. Example 1: I KINGS 12:25-29 25 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel. 26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David: 27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah. 28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan. Fear 10

  21. Example 2:I SAMUEL 13:5-7 5 And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven. 6 When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.7 And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling. Fear 10

  22. I SAMUEL 13:8-10 8 And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. 9 And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. 10 And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. Fear 10

  23. I SAMUEL 15:11-14 And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; 12 Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. 13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. 14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue… Fear 10

  24. Example 3: I SAMUEL 15:1-3 1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. Fear 10

  25. I SAMUEL 15:13 13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD. 14 And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? I SAMUEL 15:24 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Fear 10

  26. THERE.IS.A.MAN.HERE.THAT.CAN TURN.ON.THE.LIGHT 278 When the persecution comes, don't get scared;there's a Light said He'd catch His people away. She'll not go through the tribulation. She'll never do it; He said She wouldn't. She'll be caught away. "How they going to do it, Brother Branham? Looks awful dark!" No matter how dark it gets, if you can't see your hand before you, just remember, there's a Man here that can turn on the Light, can rapture that church. 63-1229 Fear 10

  27. PERSEVERANT 37 …Most all ministers believe that the Church goes through the Tribulation period, for purification; I can't see it. The Blood of Jesus Christ is our purification; nothing cleaner, see. I believe that the church, the denominational church and the sleeping virgin, does go through the Tribulation, but not the Bride. There is a difference between the church and the Bride. The Bride goes in the Rapture. 63-0802 Fear 10

  28. I THESSALONIANS 5:8-11 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. Fear 10

  29. ROMANS 8:33-39 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth… 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, [narrowness of a place]or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Fear 10

  30. THE.FEAST.OF.THE.TRUMPETS 183 But here you'll get it, the Bride will not go through that time. The Bible says not. The church will, but not the Bride. Can't you see? Ministers, can't you see that, brethren? 184 You say, "The Church has to go through the persecution, for the perfection of It." The Blood of Jesus Christ perfects the Bride. 64-0719 Fear 10

  31. VICTORY.DAY 202 (Jacob) …That's what the Devil is so after us about. That's what the Devil is so after the Bride, the Church, so, for now, it's getting close to V-day. That's right. She is getting real close. That's when the enemy does his worst, to reroute. The Bible said, "Woe unto the earth, because the Devil is like a roaring lion, in the last days, going around, devouring what he will, you see. Woe unto them, the persecutions and things would take place."Hold right to It. Don't you move, right or left. Stay right with that Word. God said so. That does it. 63-0421 Fear 10

  32. A.PARADOX 166 Why did the Indians lose this country to the white people? Is because they was--they was divided among themselves. 167 How are we going to lose this great race? Is because we're divided. How we going to do it? We got to stay together. We're all believers in God. The Holy Ghost takes us all in. It'll be a paradox if God ever gets us together, but He will. Just trust Him. The virgin birth... He knows how to send the persecution that will run us together. 64-0418 Fear 10

  33. THE.THIRD.EXODUS 56 Therefore, you can rest assure that what God has promised in this Bible, He's going to do it. Just no need of trying to think anything else, and say, "Well, the prophet was, maybe, was wrong," or, "that couldn't happen in this day." Looked almost impossible then, more impossible than it does now. But God did it, anyhow, because He promised He would do it. Fear 10

  34. 57 And look how simple He does it. "I have come down. I heard the cry. I remember My promise. I've come down to do it. I'm sending you. You do it. I'm going to be with you. Certainly, I'll be with you. My never-, never-failing Presence will be with you wherever you go. Don't be afraid. I'm coming down to deliver." I'm sure the spiritual mind catches that. 63-0630 Fear 10

  35. GOD.HIDING.HIMSELF.IN.SIMPLICITY 323 That's how these things happen. That's why I can stand and say to the world, "Has the Word ever failed?" God promised me, back there, as a kid. That's the reason. 324 Say, "Aren't you afraid of failing?" I'm never. I'm always a failure. He never does. I don't speak my words. I speak His. 63-0412 Fear 10

  36. PHILIPPIANS 4:6-8 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
