Implementation: • Space Station Processing Facility, TCMS (Test 8/98, Operational 11/98) • Implement EPIC in Hypergolic Maintenance Facility - United Space Alliance (started 6/98, begin testing 10/98) • Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) awarded SENTEL contract to develop EPIC system for Tennessee Valley Authority (6/98)

  10. Benefits • All task team members see changes to document instantly(Deviations, Quality buy-offs, document closures, signatures, etc.) Team is informed. Assures data accuracy. • Deviations will be incorporated directly into documentrather than just attachments. Improves accuracy of operation. Processing, approving, and distributing deviations is done electronically.

Benefits (Con’t) • Improves information availabilityfor incident investigations and management reporting. • Eliminates need to carry multiple stamps and ink pads. • Emergency procedurescan be accessed immediately. • Future savingsmay be realized by using the data in statistical analysis to identify and implement process improvements.
