  2. My Family • Mom – Cathy – School Nurse • Dad – Wayne – Manager of Electric Coop. • Brother – Mark – 16 yrs. Old, student at EHS. • GrandmaS – lives next door • Grandpap and Grandma M – live in Lewisburg (grandpap is a bus driver)

  3. What Lies Ahead? • In 5 years I hope to have completed my undergraduate degree at the University at Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I hope to have a full-time position as an English teacher at a middle school or high school in PA. • In 10 years I hope to still be teaching English. I hope that I have become a more effective, competent teacher, and I hope my students feel that they learn a lot from me. • In 10 years I also hope that I am married and that my husband and I own a home with a little bit of land.

  4. Plan of Action • I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in the fall of 1999. I hope to earn a four year degree in Secondary English Education from UPJ by May of 2003. • I will work part-time during the summer and the school year so that I can help to pay for books, tuition, and other expenses.

  5. Preparing for the Immediate Future • Interests – • Reading • Writing poetry and short stories • Spending time with friends and family • Spending time outdoors • Skiing, hiking, walking • Personality – • Patient • Great listener • Compassionate • Thoughtful • Work skills – • Hard working • Organized • Self-disciplined • Studious

Community Involvement • Church • Member of the Choir • Assistant at VBC • Sunday School teacher for pre-school • Make meals for Potluck and Prayer • School • Member of NHS, SADD, Yearbook Committee, Newspaper Committee, Tennis team • Family • Assists with chores on a weekly basis • Work part-time in summer to help with my own expenses

  7. Hopes and Wishes • Along with being a successful teacher, I hope to be a good wife and mother. • One day I would like to write and publish a book of fiction or a collection of poems • I hope to wake up each day loving my life and being thankful for all I have.
