  4. THEIR IDENTITY • Passages ascribing Deity to all 3 Beings Psa 139:1-12 • Declares His omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence • Most have no trouble assigning these Divine attributes to the Father

  8. THEIR WORK • All 3 possess the same attributes Col 2:9 • Whatever makes 1 Divine makes all 3 Divine • Yet, there is a difference re: Their work and Their role within the Godhead

  10. THEIR WORK • The Son • The One who carried out (executed) the Father’s plan Jn 9:4 • He submitted Himself to the Father’s will Mk 14:36 Heb 10:5-10 • The only acceptable sacrifice 1 Jn 2:2

  17. CONCLUSION • How can 3 distinct Personalities exist and function within 1 Divine Being? • Full comprehension may not be possible… must accept it by faith • Best illustration Gen 2:24 • Two differing personalities…yet “one”

  18. CONCLUSION • So it is with the Godhead Jn 10:30 • All 3 exist • All 3 have a stake in our redemption • All 3 are worthy of our worship & praise
