Ground transportation in executive air conditioned coach throughout the tour (3 days) • 2 nights’ at the Hallmark Manchester South Hotel (based on 2-4sharing) • Full board Meal Basis (first meal is packed lunch on day 1 and final meal is packed lunch on day 3 – includes 1 x hot lunch at Manchester City’s CFA facility) • 3 x 90 minute training sessions on all aspects of play from CFS / Academy coaching staff • Use of the state-of-the-art City Football Academy (CFA) facility for all scheduled training sessions • Use of ‘City Football Schools’ kit for all training sessions at CFA • Tickets to watch Manchester City vs. Southampton in the Premier League • 1 x friendly football fixture (4 teams) against local opposition • Behind the scenes tour of the Etihad Stadium, including visit to official club shop • Visit to the National Football Museum (Manchester City Centre) • Services of an inspiresport representative to stay with us throughout the tour SUMMARY – WHAT’S INCLUDED?

DEPARTURE – WEDNESDAY 29TH DECEMBER • Arrive at school from 8.00am and bring bags to the Flexible Learning Centre (FLC). • Can students please arrive in full school uniform as you will go to period 1 and once we arrive in Manchester we will be going to the training groundfor your first session. • The coach is due to leave at 10.30am so after period 1 come to the FLC.

TOUR GROUPS • Your child will be assigned to a small group and a member of staff. • The member of staff will be the main point of contact for your child. • Whenever we need to gather everyone together, register or conduct a head count your child will go to their group and the member of staff they are assigned to.

  29. Students do not actually need any, however… • Students can have up to £10.00 with them to buy drinks and snacks (hotel) – Please note: water will be available throughout the tour • All other money should be handed to your child’s group leader on departure in an envelope with students name and amount. • Where and when appropriate we will give students access to their money (club shop & match). • We will leave it to your discretion how much spending money to give your child. SPENDING MONEY

  30. MEDICATION • Can you hand any medication to your child’s group leader on departure in a sealed container with written instructions including when to give your child the medication and the dosage. • If you have any questions about this please feel free to speak to a member of staff before you leave this evening

  31. KIT LIST • Travel – Ivanhoe school uniform • Training – ‘City Football Schools’ kit (supplied by Man City) • Matches – Ivanhoe PE kit shorts, socks, blue t-shirt • Leisure time/Match – Casual clothing (including a coat, hat and gloves!) • Shinpads/ boots • Rain jacket • Toiletries • Towel • Boot bag • Spending money (optional) • Camera (optional). Please note: Staff will be taking pictures using school cameras. Photos will be available on Moodle to download after the tour.

  32. MOBILE PHONES • Mobile phones are allowed (students will be responsible for their phones during the day). • We will take in all phones at lights out and keep them in the hotel safe. • It will be made clear to students that they can only use their phone to take pictures, listen to music, or to play games. Students must not text or call friends or family.

  33. CONCERN OVER CURRENT EVENTS • Providing there are no instructions not to visit a particular area we must assume it is ok to go with sensible precautions in place; • Our Home Based Contact will keep an eye on up to date information and communicate it to the Trip Leader as necessary. • The advice at the moment is to travel as normal, there is no higher risk now than before the recent events just a heightened awareness of the risk that was always there.
