  2. Important People in Senegal Some important people in Senegal are Safi Faye which is a film director ,also there is Abdala Faye who makes many famous paintings, and of course there is the most important person in Senegal, there president, Abdoulaye Wade.

  3. Important Places in Senegal • St. Louis ,Senegal is an important place because it is home to an important Library.

  4. Physical Features of Senegal • The Senegal River is a very important river because it supplies the border with fresh water they need to survive.

  6. Geographic Factors and natural resources • Fish, peanuts, phosphate, iron ore, gold, titanium, oil and gas, cotton, rice, vegetables, flowers, fruit, livestock, forestry, millet, sorghum, and manioc.

  7. Culture of Senegal • 92% of Senegal are Muslim. 6% of Senegal are indigenous. 2% of Senegal are Christian (mostly roman catholic) Some of the major languages are Dalanla ,Ganja , hassaniyya ,Jola-fony, Mandinkay, Mandjack, Mankanya, Noon, Pulaar, Seereer,-Siin, Soninke and Wolof.
